Rakers, Frese accept new positions with First Bankers Trust

QUINCY — First Bankers Trust Company, N.A. (First Bankers), a wholly-owned subsidiary of First Bankers Trustshares, Inc., recently announced changes to its leadership team.

Dave Rakers will assume the position of executive vice president of Growth Initiatives, while Nathan Frese has accepted the role of market president for the Adams County market. The targeted change date is July 1.

Rakers will drive strategic growth initiatives and fuel First Bankers’ expansion. His specific focus is on existing and future loan production offices, the Springfield location, as well as attracting and developing talent in these areas. First Bankers currently has LPOs in O’Fallon, Mo., and St. Charles, Mo.

As market president, Frese will manage and lead the Adams County market. First Bankers has five bank branches and an operations center in Adams County.
