QUINCY — The Rotary Club of Quincy will be the host of the second “Bourbon and Popcorn” event Saturday, Nov. 5 at Quincy Boat Club. Doors open at 6 p.m., and tastings beginning at 6:30 p.m..

Tickets are $50 each and include six tastings, popcorn, a raffle ticket and a souvenir glass to #endpolionow. All proceeds will go to End Polio Now and be matched two-to-one by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  Last year’s event raised $9,000, which became $27,000 due to the foundation’s match.

The Rotary Club also is selling raffle tickets for a chance to win one of five specialty bourbons. The winning ticket will be drawn at Quincy Brewing Company on Monday, Oct. 24 — World Polio Day.  Doors will open at 5 p.m. with a $5 cover charge.
