Safe Kids Health Fair set for June 4 in QMG parking lot
QUINCY — The Safe Kids Health Fair will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, June 4 in the Quincy Medical Group employee parking lot on the south side of 11th and Maine. Safe Kids Adams County and the Quincy Medical Group pediatrics department are the hosts of the free event.
The Safe Kids Health Fair will provide activities to promote safety and health for kids. The event will feature the Hannibal Heroes Unlimited, police officers, firefighters, bike safety, games and activities on topics such as health, dental hygiene, water safety, mental health, developmental milestones and literacy. A bike course will be set up for kids to learn how to ride safely. Families are encouraged to bring their child’s bike to participate. Bike helmets will be given away while supplies last.
Children who attend can enter their names into a drawing for a $70 gift card donated by Scottie’s Fun Spot and two new bikes donated by State Farm agent Bill Terlisner.
