Salvation Army of Quincy to serve as warming shelter during cold weather advisories

QUINCY — As cold weather threatens local residents, The Salvation Army of Quincy will offer the community the opportunity to seek warmth at The Kroc Center when cold weather advisories are issued for our area. Those who need to get out of the extreme cold are welcomed.

The Kroc Center, 405 Vermont, is open as a warming center during cold advisories during regular business hours.

  • Sundays: Noon-5 p.m.
  • Monday through Friday: 5 a.m.–9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 7a.m.–7p.m.

Should there be a need for emergency housing, The Salvation Army Emergency Shelter, 501 Broadway, can be contacted at 217-222-8655.
