QUINCY — The Knowledge Center at Chaddock is adding a pre-conference workshop to this year’s Trauma-Informed Relationship-Focused Schools conference.

The workshop, titled “Relationships: Let’s Dive Deeper,” will take place on March 31 with in-person and virtual options available. Educators around the world can attend this training on trauma-informed support for their students, even if they can’t travel to Quincy.

Susan Andrien, founder of Hope Reimagined, and Angela Harris will present during this workshop. Their session will help social workers, professional counselors, education teams and others understand the complexities of the individual neurodevelopmental needs of students and staff.

The main conference will begin the evening of March 31 with an evening dedicated to self-care, learning opportunities and an exclusive documentary screening of “Broken Places,” a film by Roger Weisberg. The learning continues on Saturday, April 1, with two keynote speakers and 10 breakout sessions to educate attendees on childhood trauma and its impact.

The Knowledge Center will honor an Educator of the Year and Administrator of the Year at the conference.

This two-day event will be held at The Knowledge Center on Chaddock’s campus in Quincy. Tickets are on sale now. To learn more, visit tkcchaddock.org.
