QUINCY — United Alloy, a contract metal fabricator based out of Wisconsin, will move into a 24,000 sq. ft. in the Ellington Road industrial park area with plans to open by April 1.

According to a news release, the Quincy location will help United Alloy continue to expand its capacity and meet the needs of a growing customer base.

Along with its Janesville, Wisc. headquarters, United Alloy has another facility in Sequin, Texas.
United Alloy is a contract metal fabrication and powder coating company that produces leak-proof metal fuel tanks, hydraulic reservoirs, skids, frames, chassis and trailers.

United Alloy is ISO 9001 Certified and is also recognized as a Woman/Minority Owned Business.

United Alloy officials say they chose Quincy because of its workforce located within the tri-state region of Western Illinois, Northeast Missouri, and Southeast Iowa and worked with the Great River
Economic Development Foundation on the location.

To start, the Quincy location will be a weld only facility for a few years when it opens this Spring, but the long-range plan is to eventually construct a larger facility.

With an expected April start date set, United Alloy will be holding a three-day on-site job fair that will take place on February 21, from 1 to 6 p.m., February 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and February 23,
from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
