Weiman joins XCEL Physical Therapy

QUINCY — Michael Weiman has joined the team at XCEL Physical Therapy.

Weiman graduated with his doctorate in physical therapy degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 2014. He earned additional credentials in 2019 as an orthopedic certified specialist. 

Using his education and training in movement impairment syndromes, Weiman evaluates each patient’s posture, functional movements and muscle imbalances to decrease pain. He educates patients on the reasons underlying movements can contribute to increased discomfort and how to address faulty movements appropriately. 

Weiman uses a combination of manual therapy and patient-specific exercises to promote tissue healing and assist patients to return to a healthy, active lifestyle. He has experience treating patients with running injuries, sports-related injuries, professional athletes, total joint replacements, post-operative care, low back/neck pain, balance/gait deficits and various upper extremity/lower extremity injuries.
