Real estate tax prepayments being accepted in December

QUNCY — The Adams County Treasurer’s Office is accepting real estate property tax prepayments during December 2022 for taxes that will be payable in 2023. Prepayments will bear a receipt date in 2022.

Prepayments can be made in person or by mail. If paying in person, enter the courthouse through the Fifth Street entrance. Payments sent by mail must be postmarked no later than Dec. 31.

Taxpayers may prepay up to the total amount of their most recent tax bill (2021 payable 2022). If paying on multiple parcels, please provide the parcel number and amount paid for each.

Office hours are weekdays from 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m. The office will be closed on Friday, Dec. 23, and Monday, Dec. 26.
