QUINCY — The Quincy Workforce Center recently announced a partnership with the Adams County Sheriff’s Office designed to help people access valuable workforce services and career opportunities, supporting personal growth and reducing barriers to success.

As part of this partnership:

  • Monthly Service Information: The Quincy Workforce Center will provide a monthly PDF highlighting available workforce and training services. This information will be displayed on kiosk centers and accessible on tablets in the Sheriff’s Office facility.
  • Transition Support Materials: Informational pamphlets about workforce services will be included in paperwork provided during key transitional moments, ensuring individuals have immediate access to helpful resources as they plan their next steps.
  • Accessibility for All: Additional pamphlets will be available outside the Sheriff’s Office entrance and at the courthouse entrance, offering easy access for the public and families seeking support.

The Quincy Workforce Center is committed to keeping its materials accurate and up-to-date through collaboration with partner agencies under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). This partnership not only supports individuals directly but also strengthens the community by encouraging personal and professional growth.

The Quincy Workforce Center provides employment resources and support services to people and businesses in the Quincy area. Through partnerships with local organizations, the center strives to connect people with opportunities that foster growth, stability, and success.
