Adams County welcomes 65 new small businesses in 2024

ADAMS COUNTY, Ill. — The Great River Economic Development Foundation, Quincy Area Chamber of Commerce and The District recently announced that 65 new small businesses opened in Adams County.

These new businesses span a diverse range of industries including retail, hospitality, technology, professional services and more.

The three organizations are committed to supporting entrepreneurs opening their businesses in Adams County. A business start-up guide has been developed to provide valuable resources, step-by-step instructions and important community contacts to help entrepreneurs navigate the often-complicated journey of starting a business.
