Adoption fees waived by Heart of Hancock Humane Society for veterans through Wednesday

CARTHAGE, Ill. — The Heart of Hancock Humane Society, 1587 N. County Road 1750 in Carthage, is waiving adoption fees for veterans and family in honor of Patriot Day. The offer will end on Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Veterans are encouraged to make an appointment to view available pets and complete an adoption application. An approval of the adoption application is required for all adoptions. Appointments can be made by calling 217-440-7327.
