Alzheimer’s conference for professionals and Caregivers to be held Wednesday at Senior Center
QUINCY — The Alzheimer’s Association Illinois chapter, in partnership with the Continuing Education
Institute of Illinois, will be the host of “Building Bridges of Support: Alzheimer’s Conference for Professionals and Caregivers” from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 18 at the Quincy Senior and Family Resource Center. Registration and networking opportunities will begin at 8 a.m.
This conference features an extensive agenda that delves into the various types of dementia and gain insights into effective communication strategies tailored to each type and stage of Alzheimer’s disease. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore latest developments in Alzheimer’s and dementia research and treatment.
The conference will offer a diverse array of exhibitors and supplementary resources, offering attendees a comprehensive platform to access the latest tools and information in Alzheimer’s care.

Cost for the conference is as follows:
- $29 family caregivers
- special rate of $59 available for CNAs, home care aides, community caregivers, veterans and students
- Early bird registration fee: $119 valid until Oct. 13
- Regular registration fee: $139 after Oct. 13
- Group registration (three or more individuals): $99 per person
The registration fee includes full access to the conference, continuing education credits/units for
professionals and all conference materials.
