Annual Independence Day tractor pull roaring back Sunday at Adams County Fairgrounds

MENDON, Ill. — Tractor pull lovers will can celebrate their independence with the roar of engines during the annual Independence Day Weekend Tractor Pull at the Adams County Fairgrounds on Sunday, June 30.

This tractor pull features pullers from the Illinois Farm Pullers Association. Gates open at 1:30 p.m. with pulling action beginning at 3 p.m.

The Independence Day pulls have been happening at the fairgrounds for about 20 years. This year’s event is dedicated to Daryl Still who died in 2016. Stoll could always be found on his tractor at the annual holiday pulls.

Tickets are $10 per person. Kids 12 and under are free.

Food vendors will be Big Bros BBQ, Graham’s Lemonade and the Daily Grind. Boy Scouts will be on the grounds grilling pork chops as well. A beer garden will be open.
