Applications for position as firefighter with the City of Quincy available beginning Thursday
QUINCY — The City of Quincy will begin accepting applications for the position of firefighter starting Thursday, Aug. 1. The application can be found on the City of Quincy website at www.quincyil.gov.
The application can be completed online and emailed for submission or can printed out, and mailed to City Hall. Online submissions should be emailed to the Board of Fire and Police commissioners.
An informational meeting regarding the upcoming firefighter candidate test will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 7, at the Quincy Regional Training Facility located at 1800 Seminary Rd. Members of the Quincy Fire Department and Board of commissioners will be available to answer questions about the testing process and job details.
