Bark and Brew event to benefit Quincy Humane Society to debut on Saturday

QUINCY — County Market Liquor and Pet Supplies Plus are the hosts of the first Bark and Brew event to benefit the Quincy Humane Society from noon to 5 p.m. at 4830 Broadway.

The event will offer a costume contest for adults, kids and dogs, peanut butter licking contests, a kick out, reptile handlings, giveaways and raffles. More than 25 products from liquor vendors and tastings on Starry and Lotus (mixed with liquor for a cocktail or on its own) will be available. There will be special pricing on tasting products, and snacks will be provided by Niemann Catering.

The following items will be raffled off:

  • Pappy Van Winkle, 12 years old, Lot “B” donated by County Market Liquor
  • Jack Daniels Guitar donated by County Market Liquor
  • Weber grill donated by ACE Hardware

Quincy Humane Society’s adoption team will be onsite with available pups.
