Basinger joins Girl Scouts of Central Illinois board of directors

QUINCY — Girl Scouts of Central Illinois (GSCI) recently announced the addition of Eric Basinger to its board of directors. Basinger will serve a two-year term.

Basinger is a professional land surveyor for Klinger & Associates, bringing expertise to GSCI and its eight properties throughout central Illinois. Basinger’s passion for Girl Scouting was inspired by both his mother and daughter’s involvement in the organization. He makes his home in Quincy.

In a press release, Jennifer Sedbrook, CEO of Girl Scouts of Central Illinois, said, “Not only will Eric be a tremendous asset to our board of directors, helping to promote our mission of empowering girls across our 38-county Council, but he will also be an excellent representation of the voices of our Quincy members.”
