Bella Ease receives grant from ISBE to provide academic support for students in grades 6-12

QUINCY — Bella Ease recently announced it has been awarded the 21st Century Grant through the Illinois State Board of Education for the next three years. It will provide additional academic support for 6th-12th grade students in Quincy public and parochial schools. This new program will be called mPower.
Bella Ease will have an open learning site in addition to the learning sites at QJHS and QHS. Workshops/groups will be available for parents and students about a variety of social/emotional and academic topics. Additionally, there is the opportunity to support summer activities for students.
A summer kick-off event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 31, at Bella Ease, at 707 Broadway.
