Benefit for Josh Cooper on Jan. 12 at South Side Boat Club to include pool tournament

QUINCY — A benefit will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at South Side Boat Club for Josh Cooper, who is battling lung cancer and a brain tumor.

A double elimination, blind draw pool tournament will be held at the fundraiser. Entry fee is $10.

Those attending also can participate in a 50/50 drawing and silent auction. Karaoke will be provided by Kim Smith. A food bar will be available as well as a bake sale.

All proceeds will go directly to Cooper and his family for transportation and medical bills.
