QUINCY — Blessed Sacrament Catholic School will once again offer free lunches to all children up to age 18 beginning Wednesday, June 11, and continuing through Friday, Aug 8.

Lunches will be available Monday thru Friday from the school entrance in the alley off Eighth Street between the school and the church. Serving time will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  No registration or sign-in is required.

To help fight hunger in communities, the U.S. Department of Agriculture provides funding to school districts to continue to provide meals during the summer. The federally funded program provides free meals to anyone ages 18 and younger. Enrollment in the program or school is not required; children simply have to show up to the sites to get meals.

For more information or any questions, contact meal coordinator Chris Wiemelt at 217-440-5675.
