Blessing Health System to shine spotlight on organ, tissue donation during Friday flag raising

QUINCY — Blessing Health and Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network staff will have a flag raising to mark Donate Life Month in front of Blessing Hospital at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 25.
The father of an organ recipient, a Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network representative and a Blessing Hospital chaplain will speak at the event.
Every donor can save eight lives and enhance at least 75 more. More than 103,000 men, women and children are on the transplant waiting list nationwide.
