Book fair on Tuesday to benefit Memorial Hospital Foundation ‘Grow Our Own’ scholarship campaign
CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Hospital Foundation will hold Midwest Book Fairs (formerly Books are Fun), an event offering books, from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21 in the front lobby and hallways of Memorial Hospital, 1454 N. County Road 2050.
All proceeds from the book and gift fair will benefit the Memorial Hospital Foundation’s “Grow Our Own” scholarship campaign, which aims to provide scholarships for Memorial Hospital and Hancock County Senior and Childcare Services employees pursuing further education in the healthcare field. The scholarships serve as a means to recruit and retain healthcare resources in Hancock County.
For further information on this event or the Foundation’s “Grow Our Own” campaign, contact Colleen Wildrick, Memorial Hospital Foundation director of development, at cwildrick@mhtlc.org or 217-357-8504.
