Jensen Woods Camp to offer ‘Soup in the Woods’ Oct. 15-16
TIMEWELL, Ill. — Jensen Woods Camp will be holding two soup suppers at the camp in October.
Menu offerings from 3-6 p.m. on Oct. 15 will be taco soup, chicken noodle soup, potato soup, pulled pork, grilled cheese, hotdogs, veggies and desserts.
People attending from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Oct. 16 will have their choice of six varieties of soups — taco, oyster, vegetable, potato, chili and stuffed pepper — along with grilled cheese, hot dogs, pulled pork sandwiches, veggies and desserts being served.
Both events will be held in the Dixon Lodge Dining Room and Lawn at Jensen Woods Camp, 1498 275 E Street, with a freewill offering being accepted. Carry-outs will be available.
Other activities on both dates are vendors, wagon rides, live music, pumpkin decorating, crafts, and lawn games. Craft and small business vendors are wanted. Booth space is a freewill donation.
