‘Soup in the Woods’ fundraiser for Jensen Woods Camp set for Oct. 30-31
TIMEWELL, Ill. — The “Soup in the Woods” fundraiser for Jensen Woods Camp, 1498 275 E. Street in Timewell, is set for 3-6 p.m. Oct. 30 and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 31.
Kids will enjoy games, crafts, and pumpkin decorating. Live music and wagon rides will be available. Vendors will sell kettle corn, cotton candy and more. The Brown Country YOU Quail Forever group will offer its BB gun shooting range on Sunday.
Saturday’s meal will consist of tomato soup, grilled cheese, hot dogs, baked beans, vegetables and cookies. Sunday’s meal will offer five soups (taco, oyster, vegetable, stuffed pepper and turkey and rice) pulled pork, hot dogs, grilled cheese sandwiches, vegatables and desserts.
