CEO Club sponsoring annual haunted house on QU’s North Campus on Friday, Saturday nights
QUINCY — Who walks the halls and corridors at night of the old Our Lady of Angels Seminary in northern Quincy? Are their secrets and mysteries ready to be discovered?
Visit Quincy University’s North Campus the nights of Oct. 27-28 to find out.
The university’s CEO Club is hosting its annual haunted house. Designed for teenagers and older, the hours run from 8 p.m. to midnight.
“The money we raise will be used to support our entrepreneurial activities and to attend entrepreneurship conferences,” said Cynthia Haliemun, dean of the Oakley School of Business who also helps with the club. “We also donate the money to Franciscan Friars and other non-profit organizations in need.”
The cost is $7 for QU students and $10 for the public.
Haliemun hopes to see big crowds because this event is the primary fundraiser for the organization.
“Our mission is to inform, support and inspire college students to be entrepreneurial and seek opportunity through enterprise creation,” she said. “With a diverse entrepreneurial community and global network, the club provides student entrepreneurs with opportunities, events, chapter activities and conferences to help start businesses.”
