Chaddock to honor Reed’s legacy during annual Rose Tea on Sept. 8
QUINCY — Chaddock’s annual Rose Tea will be held beginning at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 8, at the main campus, 205 S. 24th. This year’s event will honor the legacy of late president and CEO Debbie Reed.
The Rose Tea is a garden party tradition dating back to the early 1900s. It brings together supporters, staff and the community to celebrate and reflect on the work done at Chaddock. A centerpiece of this year’s event will be the presentation of the Harry and Carlene Geisler Friend of Children Award, which will be posthumously awarded to Debbie Reed. The award will be accepted by her family.
While donations are encouraged, the Rose Tea is always free to attend with all proceeds directly supporting the programs and services offered by the Chaddock Family of Organizations. RSVPs are strongly encouraged to ensure a memorable experience for all attendees. Contact the Chaddock Children’s Foundation at 217-592-0329, email ksill@chaddock.org or visit www.chaddock.org to RSVP.
