Christ Lutheran, Luther Memorial invite children to ‘True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World’ July 7-11

QUINCY — A summer kids’ event, True North, will be hosted at Christ Lutheran Church from July 7 to July 11 for children from preschool to 5th grade and will run from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each day.

At True North, kids will discover what it means to trust Jesus in a wild world. Activities include Bible-learning activities, singing catchy songs, playing teamwork-building games, making and devouring treats, experiencing one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collecting Bible memory buddies to remind them of Jesus’ love and testing out science-fun experiments.

Kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called God Sightings. Each day concludes with a Compass Closing that gets everyone involved in living what they’ve learned.
