Cleanup day in Log Cabin Village planned for Saturday

QUINCY — The Friends of the Log Cabins (FLC) Association board has scheduled a cleanup day in the Log Cabin Village, on Quinsippi Island Park accessed via All America Park, from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 20.

Plans are to clean the cobwebs and dust from the log cabins and the log church. Volunteers are needed to help clean the site and cabins in preparation for school tours, which begin on April 26, and the open house on May 5. Volunteers are encouraged to wear old clothes and bring gloves if they prefer to use their own. The FLC will have gloves and tools available.  Snacks will be provided during break time.
