Coatsburg Lions 55th annual ‘Whole Hog Day’ is Saturday at the Paloma Community Building

COATSBURG, Ill. — The Coatsburg Lions Club will be the host of its 55th annual “Whole Hog Day” on Saturday, March 8, at the Paloma Community Building, 1825 E. 1635th, in Paloma.
Club members will be serving pancakes, whole hog sausage, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, coffee and milk from 6 to 11 a.m. Tickets for adults are $12 in advance or $13 at the door. Tickets are available from Lions Club members. Children (ages 6 to 12) eat for only $6, and children under six years eat free. Carryouts will be available.
Meat will be available for purchase in the east kitchen after 5 p.m. Friday, March 7, and all day Saturday, March 8. Meat orders can be reserved by calling 217-430-3988 or contacting any Coatsburg Lions Club member.
All proceeds from this event will go towards Lions local activities and community improvements.
A gun raffle will be offered at the door. Old eyeglasses, hearing aids and old cell phones will be collected.
