Cop on a Rooftop Friday at Dunkin’ Donuts to benefit Special Olympics Illinois

QUINCY — The 22nd annual “Cop on a Rooftop” event, which raises funds for Special Olympics Illinois, will take place from 6 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 16, at Dunkin’ Donuts, 2602 Broadway.

Law enforcement officials will be stationed at more than 300 participating Dunkin’ locations across Illinois collecting money and raising awareness for Special Olympics Illinois.

Each Dunkin’ Quincy guest who donates to the Torch Run will receive a coupon for a free donut. Guests who donate $10 or more will receive a LETR/ Dunkin’ branded tumbler (while supplies last) and a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee. Torch Run shirts will be available for purchase inside.

The goal is to raise $5,000 for Special Olympics athletes. Checks should be made payable to Special Olympics IL. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.
