‘Cop on a Rooftop’ on Friday at Dunkin’ to benefit Special Olympics Illinois athletes
QUINCY — The 21st annual “Cop on a Rooftop” event will take place from 5 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 17. Law enforcement officials will be stationed at more than 300 participating Dunkin’ locations across Illinois collecting money for Special Olympics Illinois. Quincy’s law enforcement officials will be at Dunkin’, 2602 Broadway.
Each guest who donates to the Torch Run will receive a coupon for a free donut. Guests who donate $10 or more will receive a LETR/ Dunkin’ branded tumbler (while supplies last) and a coupon for a free medium hot or iced coffee.
Torch Run shirts will be available for purchase inside. Cash and credit cards will be accepted. If paying by check, it should should be made payable to Special Olympics IL.
The goal in Quincy is to raise $5,000 for Special Olympics athletes.
