Dog Days of Summer set for Saturday at Quincy Town Center

QUINCY — Homeward Bound Waggin, Inc., will hold Dog Days of Summer from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 13, at the Quincy Town Center.

Activities for your dog throughout the day will be a Doggie Dash, Dachshund Derby Plus, dog games and paw painting. Enter your dachshund, puppies, rookies and mixed breed in the derby for $20 per entry. Dog games will be a peanut butter licking contest, musical sit contest and pool diving. You can enter your pooch into contests for Best Kisser, Wiggle Butt, Look Alike and more.

A silent auction and raffle will be held. Vendors will be displaying merchandise available for purchase.

No retractable leads are allowed. Dogs must be “dog friendly.”
