QUINCY — American Legion Post 37, has made a $1,000 contribution to the Jackson-Lincoln Pool, located on Quincy’s northwest side. This donation was in an effort to supplement matching donations from an anonymous philanthropist.

The pool has been financially struggling, and was in danger of not opening for the season. Thanks to overwhelming community support, the organization looks ready to reach and exceed its goal of $50,000.
