Early Tin Dusters 47th annual Fall Color Run begins Friday
QUINCY — This year’s Fall Color Run will mark the Early Tin Dusters’ 47th annual showing in Quincy. The club anticipates more than 500 pre-1949 street rods from Washington to Arizona and throughout the Midwest, bringing thousands of visitors into the Quincy area.
Street rodders who have been attending the event say it feels like a homecoming for them, providing them with a chance to meet with old friends and an opportunity to make some new ones.
The public can check out these street rods on Saturday in downtown Quincy from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again on Sunday in Upper Moorman Park from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. To check out the schedule of events, visit www.earlytindusters.com or visit “The Early Tin Dusters” on Facebook.
The club will be donating funds from this event to support Camp Callahan’s programs. More than $278,000 has been donated to Camp Callahan in years past. For more information about Camp Callahan, visit www.campcallahan.com.
