Evans joins First Mid Bank & Trust mortgage team 

QUINCY — First Mid Bank & Trust, 636 Hampshire, has named Alec Evans as its new mortgage loan officer serving Quincy and the surrounding communities. Evans is responsible for assisting customers with all aspects of mortgage lending — home purchases, refinances, home equity lines of credit and personal loans. 

“We are excited to have Alec join us as our mortgage lender,” John Johannes, Quincy Community Market president at First Mid, said in a press release. “He has already hit the ground running in serving our mortgage clients and will be a great asset to our team. Evans began his career in banking as a teller while attending John Wood Community College. After graduating from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville, he filled the role of loan processor at First Mid in 2022 before moving to his current role.
