PITTSFIELD, Ill. — The restoration of the historic façade of the Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials building at 120 South Madison in Pittsfield is complete. The building will reopen for Two Rivers services and the Reachout Thrift Store on Friday, March 1.

A press release from Two Rivers said the organization will hold a grand reopening and ribbon cutting shortly. After making structural improvements to the interior and exterior of the building, the building was closed in August 2023 to allow the façade project to begin.

“We are thrilled to finally announce the long-awaited update that has been in the works for quite some time,” Executive Director Jeremy Oshner said in a press release. “We want to express our gratitude to the community and our dedicated staff for their patience and support throughout this process. We are excited to unveil a new building façade that truly embodies the values of Pittsfield and Pike County.”

Two Rivers Regional Council of Public Officials thanks the Pike County Board, Tracy Family Foundation and Liberty Bank for support and funding for the project, and Petty Construction Company, Architechnics Inc., and John Petty and Sons Custom Builders for their work on the building.
