QUINCY — John Wood Community College will be the host of FAME Night from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, March 17, at the Workforce Development Center to provide students and parents with information about the Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME) program. The event will introduce attendees to hands-on training opportunities, paid work experience and direct connections with industry leaders.

FAME Night offers a chance for students to explore career pathways in advanced manufacturing while engaging with current students, instructors and potential employers. The event will offer:

  • Student Perspectives: Current FAME students will share their experiences in the program.
  • Employer Connections: Representatives from local manufacturing companies will be available to discuss job opportunities.
  • Instructor Guidance: Faculty members will provide insight into hands-on technical training and coursework.
