Friends of the Quincy Public Library semi-annual book sale set for Thursday through Saturday

QUINCY — The Friends of the Quincy Public Library will hold its semi-annual book sale Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 24-26 in the large conference room at the library, 526 Jersey. Shopping hours on Thursday are 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Hours on Friday and Saturday are 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The books are sold for 50 cents per inch, with a few books priced slightly higher. CDs, DVDs and books on tape are available.

In a press release, Ken Grawe, president of the Friends of the Library group, said, “It is the mission of the FOL to get books into the hands of the public. These sales help us do just that. There are books for everyone, and the price is right.”
