Gem City Kiwanis Club Foundation accepting applications for grants; deadline is April 15

QUINCY — The Gem City Kiwanis of Quincy foundation is now accepting applications for 2025 grants.

The foundation provides grant money to benefit youths and/or youths and adults working together for the betterment of the community. Grant money is to provide enrichment of educational values, creative activities, cultural awareness and physical wellness and/or community service.

The Gem City “Breakfast” Kiwanis Club is a member of Kiwanis International, which was founded in 1915. Through service and fundraising, the club’s goal is to “Serve the Children of the World.” The money collected through trivia night, Peanut Day, the Sammy and Friends Golf Outing and other activities is spent locally to help youths.

The club’s annual Grant Day has provided more than $100,000 to local entities that support youth.s In 2024, we presented over $26,000 in grants.
