Hampsmire named executive director at WGCA The Mix

QUINCY — WGCA The Mix recently announced Broc Hampsmire is the new executive director of the radio station. WGCA’s former executive director, Bob Daly, will continue to work at The Mix part-time as the underwriting director.

Hampsmire has been in the local radio industry for 21 years. He has been an on-air personality at The Mix for eight years and has been working in the underwriting department since 2022.

In a press release, Hampsmire said, “I’m blessed and honored to be the executive director of this radio station and ministry that has meant so much to so many people and to me personally. We’re blessed to have a great staff and on-air personalities who are all local and invested. My goal each day moving forward is to work with them to continue WGCA’s long-standing mission of communicating the gospel of Jesus Christ and to uplift and encourage our listeners with positive hits.”

Daly said, “WGCA has been providing encouragement and positive hits for 37 years. I have enjoyed my time as WGCA’s executive director. With his years of radio experience and heart for the Lord, this ministry is in great hands with Broc, and I’m excited to see what he’s going to do in the coming years.”

WGCA The Mix has been offering encouragement and positive hits for all ages since 1987. The Mix is a non-profit listener-supported station with local on-air personalities. A live and local morning show, “The Morning Mix,” can be heard from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday-Friday. The Mix is available to listeners on 88.5 FM, at WGCA.org or on the free Mix mobile app.
