Memorial Hospital expands rehabilitative services by staffing full-time physical and occupational therapy team
CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Hospital recently expanded the rehabilitative services offered to inpatients by staffing a full-time physical and occupational therapy team.
Physical therapist Tonya Dooley, occupational therapist Chevie Lay, physical therapist assistant Rachael Woodside and certified occupational therapy assistant Mary Lou Sadler have joined the team to provide therapy services at Memorial Hospital.
This new service will allow more patients to have expanded access to therapy treatment and offer services to Hancock Village senior living residents. These services will allow residents to stay in their homes to receive therapy treatment conveniently.
“We are very excited to grow our therapy team to continue to provide top-notch rehabilitative care for our transitional care-swing bed patients and other inpatients,” said Dawn Owren, chief ancillary service officer. “Through this service expansion, we are keeping our commitment to providing five-star care and services.”
