CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Hospital Foundation is partnering with “Out the Door Travel,” owned and operated by David and Leah Zanolla of Carthage, for a trip to Chicago Dec. 6-8.
The trip includes round-trip train tickets, a two-night stay in downtown Chicago, a visit to the Christkindl Christmas Market, tickets to see “The Lion King” at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, shopping on The Magnificent Mile and a Memorial Hospital Foundation favor bag. The train will leave Tuesday morning, Dec. 6 out of Macomb and return Thursday evening, Dec. 8.
“We look forward to helping participants plan a quick visit to Chicago where they can experience some Broadway-caliber theatre, unique dining and time to shop,” David Zanolla said in a press release.
This initial trip will launch the Memorial Hospital Foundation’s Travel Club. The foundation hopes to develop and offer future opportunities people to participate in travel experiences with the foundation team.
