Memorial Hospital Foundation to be host of book fair Tuesday

CARTHAGE, Ill. — Memorial Hospital Foundation will be the host of a “Collective Goods,” formerly known as “Books are Fun,” book and gift fair from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22 in the front lobby and hallways at Memorial Hospital.

Proceeds from the fair will go to the Memorial Hospital foundation “Grow Our Own” campaign. Funds raised will go towards scholarships to help Memorial Hospital and Hancock County senior and childcare services employees continue their education in the healthcare and childcare fields. Scholarships will serve as a recruitment and retention tool to maintain healthcare and childcare resources in Hancock County in the future.
