Golden’s Point Church to hold Nauvoo at Night series beginning Jan. 11

Nauvoo

Nauvoo Theater (Grandpa John’s Café) will be the site for Nauvoo at Night.

NAUVOO, Ill. — Golden’s Point Church will sponsor Nauvoo at Night every Wednesday at 7 p.m. beginning Jan. 11 and continuing through March 29.

Everyone is invited to the Nauvoo Theater (Grandpa John’s Café), 1255 Mulholland, to share in worship music, learn about the life of Jesus and join in prayer for concerns.

Music will be presented by Michael Haas and other local artists. Haas is a part of Living Water, which has been actively involved in the Nauvoo area for several years, including recent Wednesday evenings of Oasis gatherings at Nauvoo Theater.

Nauvoo at Night will feature a short Bible message from the Gospel of Mark portraying the life of Jesus from birth to resurrection. There will be a time of prayer following the message both for the community and for personal requests. These gatherings will offer opportunity for local fellowship and learning about who Jesus is and will also serve as a prelude to the Easter celebration of Jesus’ resurrection.

Interested individuals are invited to join Golden’s Point Church for worship on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. The church is at 905 E. County Rd. 1800, Hamilton. For more information, visit www.goldenspoint.com or on Facebook at Golden’s Point Church.
