Scholarships applications accepted for Hancock County residents interested in healthcare career
CARTHAGE, Ill. — Scholarship money is available through the Memorial Hospital/HIA Scholarship Fund and Memorial Hospital Medical Staff Scholarship for Hancock County residents interested in pursuing a healthcare career or are already enrolled in a healthcare program.
This opportunity is provided to any Hancock County resident because of the generosity of the Hancock County Health Improvement Association that designated money for that purpose to Memorial Hospital.
Applications for these scholarships are available through the administrative office at Memorial Hospital in Carthage. The deadline for application submission is April 7. A certified copy of the student’s transcript is required with the application. The money does not need to be repaid if recipients complete their education in a healthcare field and/or career.
For more information and/or to acquire an application, contact Shellie Mittermeyer at Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 160, Carthage, Ill., 62321, by phone at 217-357-8562 or by email at smittermeyer@mhtlc.org.
