Hope for the Journey Conference to be April 25 at The Crossing

QUINCY — Connect Child and Family and Christian Adoption Resources and Education (CARE) are bringing Hope for the Journey to Quincy from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, April 25, at The Crossing on 48th Street.
Hope for the Journey equips professionals, parents and caregivers with the practical tools and understanding to build connection and trust with their children and teens, empowering them to thrive inside and outside their home. Bringing together teaching, resources and practical experiences, people will gain a deeper understanding of children’s needs. This is an opportunity to connect with others that care for and work with children from hard places.
Participants will learn trauma-informed strategies with local teachers, social workers, day care providers and church family ministries.
The day will consist of fellowship and five teaching sessions about Trust-Based Relational Intervention with content from professionals in the field. Lunch will be included and a question and answer session will conclude the day.
Attendance certificates will be given to foster parents and continued education credit hours for teachers.
Cost for the workshop is $15. Registration can be completed at https://careconnect.regfox.com/hope-for-the-journey-2025.
