Horizons Social Services’ ‘Raise the Roof’ campaign aims to secure $110,000 by Christmas

QUINCY — Horizons Social Services is “Raising the Roof” this holiday season through a campaign to raise $110,000 by Christmas. As of the first of December, Horizons has raised $40,000.

Horizons Social Services provides a wide range of services from providing hot meals and refuge to fostering opportunities and emotional support. However, a deteriorating roof jeopardizes the ability to serve the community. A new roof ensures the soup kitchen remains safe for the homeless, hungry and vulnerable for generations to come.
