Human resources, legal staff member at Blessing Health to retire Monday
QUINCY — Lesa Wiesemann, regulatory compliance and contract management coordinator for Blessing Health’s human resources and legal departments, is retiring on Monday, Dec. 16, after 33 years of service.
Wiesemann began her career as a temporary staff member, fulfilling a maternity leave in Blessing’s college of nursing. She then joined the personnel department as a part-time assistant. She eventually advanced to hold the positions of human resources specialist, retention manager, quality and employee safety coordinator and the position from which she is retiring.
“Blessing has been a great place to work and build a career,” Wiesemann said in a press release. “I am very appreciative to those who gave me opportunities to grow personally and professionally. I had the pleasure of working with, and for, many caring and mentoring individuals and have hopefully mentored a few coworkers along my journey. I have always been proud to work for a company aligned with the mission and values to improve the health of our communities.”
A graduate of Culver-Stockton College with a bachelor of science degree in psychology, Wiesemann holds an associate degree in sociology from John Wood Community College. She is a Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) certified professional. Her community involvement included membership on the Quincy Area Safety Council and the local and national SHRM groups.
