Hy-Vee honors Quincy employees for service milestones
QUINCY — More than 2,300 Hy-Vee, Inc. employees will be honored this month for their years of providing helpful smiles and dedication to the company.
Employees from across Hy-Vee’s eight-state region gather each year at a series of service award celebrations, which recognizes employee’s career milestones in five-year increments, from five to 45 years and beyond. These festivities have been a Hy-Vee tradition for more than 50 years. Attendees receive gifts and personal congratulations from company executives.
In a press release, Ryan Parkhurst, Hy-Vee district store director, said, “We appreciate all of our employees and enjoy celebrating their years of service with the company. We are thankful for their dedication and the daily impact they have on our local communities.”
The Quincy Hy-Vee stores have 20 Hy-Vee Service Award recipients this year. Those employees reaching service milestones are:

- Deb Manton, 25 years
- Linda Damhorst, 20 years

- Chris Lester, 15 years
- Cindy Stegeman, 15 years
- Andrew McCollum, 10 years
- Brian Brinkman, 5 years
- Tonya Clark-Schroder, 5 years
- Brian Garnett, 5 years
- Kelsy Kahs, 5 years
- Elizabeth Richeson, 5 years
