Inauguration for WIU president Kristi Mindrup to be held Thursday, Oct. 16

MACOMB, Ill. — Western Illinois University will be celebrating the inauguration of its 13th president, Kristi Mindrup, at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 16 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
Mindrup began her term as WIU’s first woman serving as president on Dec. 6, 2024, after previously serving as interim president since April 2024.
