IT support associate named Employee of the Month at SIU Center for Family Medicine

QUINCY — Amanda Wetzel, an information technology support associate at the SIU Center for Family Medicine – Quincy, recently was named the June Employee of the Month.

Wetzel has been with SIU Medicine for a little more than a year and has made an impression through her dedication, positive attitude and technical expertise. She assists team members with IT support needs, from troubleshooting software and hardware to managing account access and setting up equipment.

In a press release, one colleague who nominated Wetzel said, “She is very helpful and always willing to help when needed or if I am having a computer crisis. She is very friendly and I never feel like I am bothering her, even when I probably am. She rocks.”
